Remove your makeup
Always remove your makeup before bed. A lot of people think simply using a face wipe is enough, but you’ll be surprised how much dirt is still left on the skin. Use a cleanser and toner to make sure there is no makeup left. Sleeping with makeup on can block your pores and lead to blackheads and spots.
Exfoliate
Firstly, you want to make sure you get rid of any dry skin. By exfoliating the dead skin away, it makes sure there is no skin build up that can lead to pores becoming blocked. Exfoliate twice a week as you don’t want to be too aggressive with your skin, which could lead to irritation and spots.
Sun Care
Sun exposure is damaging to the skin so make sure you protect it. Your skin can become pigmented and pores can become enlarged. Use SPF every day to stop this from happening.
Ice
Just like steam opens pores, ice closes pores. Once you have cleansed and exfoliated your skin you can apply ice all over your face for 5 minutes. This will also help pores appear smaller.
Moisturise
Make sure you moisturise day and night. If you leave your skin to become too dry, it will begin to create more oil that can result in a build up and clog pores. This will then lead to enlarged pores and other skin issues. Make sure you use a moisturiser that hydrates the skin well.
