🫶🏼No judgment here—every mom is allowed to have her thoughts and feelings. These are just mine, raw and unfiltered. Right or wrong, I don’t know… but yesterday was one of those days where the emotions just overflowed. Tears came, questions filled my mind, and the weight of it all felt heavier than usual.

My daughter Arwyn is on the spectrum, and while every day is full of love, some days come with extra challenges. The kind of challenges that make you question if you’re doing enough, if you’re strong enough, and if you’re truly prepared for the road ahead. Yesterday was one of those days for me—a day where I felt like I was breaking under the pressure of it all.

🙌But today is a new day. And that’s the thing about this journey—it teaches you that no matter how hard it gets, you just have to keep going. Even when you’re unsure, even when the future feels uncertain, you find the strength to keep moving forward.

I don’t know what the future holds for us as a family. Will I hear her voice one day? Will she grow up to share her thoughts and dreams with me? I don’t have the answers, but I know one thing for sure: I trust that God is guiding us every step of the way. He knows the story He’s writing for her, and for us, even when I can’t see the full picture.

So, I’ll keep showing up. I’ll stay strong—for her, for her brother, for my family, and for myself. Because no matter how hard it gets, love and faith will always light the way. ❤️

This video holds a piece of my heart—a memory I’ll cherish forever. 💕 As a mum to a child on the spectrum, I’ve learned to take each day as it comes, never quite knowing how an experience will go. When Arwyn and I were given the chance to wear these gorgeous mother-and-daughter outfits from @velvetranicouture I felt a mix of excitement and worry. Would she enjoy it? Would it feel overwhelming? These are the quiet concerns I carry.

But Arwyn, as she so often does, showed me her incredible spirit. She was calm, curious, and completely lit up by the beautiful colours and designs of these outfits. I could see the joy in her eyes, the pride she felt in matching with me. She was happy—and that made me emotional in ways I can’t even explain. These small wins, these fleeting moments of connection and joy, remind me of why we keep going, no matter how hard the journey may feel at times.

To every mum out there who wonders how a day will unfold, who carries the weight of uncertainty but shows up anyway—this is for you. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒Hey there! I’m Anu—a proud mum to twins, Arwyn and Krish, who just turned 8. Life with twins is an adventure in itself, but it’s even more unique as I navigate supporting Arwyn, who’s on the spectrum, while also being there for her incredible twin brother.

I’ve been happily married to my soulmate for 12 amazing years, and together, we’re stepping into a new chapter. Recently, I made the big decision to step away from my career as a bridal hair and makeup artist to focus on my family, self-love, healing, and deepening my faith. It wasn’t an easy choice, but it was the right one for this season of my life.

Even though I’ve left the bridal world behind, my love for beauty hasn’t gone anywhere! You’ll still see me sharing my go-to makeup routines, especially how I keep things fun and vibrant in my 40s. I also love playing with fashion and sharing tips that work for busy mums like me—it’s all about feeling good and confident in our skin.

Beyond beauty and style, I’m passionate about wellness, fitness, and keeping a positive mindset. Life is all about balance (or at least trying to find it!), and I want to inspire others to embrace their own journeys, whatever they may look like.

My “why” is simple: my chapter has changed, but my mission hasn’t. I’m here to inspire, uplift, and connect—because none of us have it all figured out, and that’s okay. We’re in this together, through the highs, the lows, and all the in-between moments.

♥️Being a mum on this journey, with my daughter being on the autism spectrum, pushed me to a breaking point. I found myself feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, and on the edge of losing my mindset. The days were long, and the challenges felt hard.

I knew something had to change, so I decided to take that first step and start working out. It wasn’t easy, and it didn’t magically fix everything, but it gave me a lifeline. Fitness became my space to release the stress, find my strength, and keep my mind from spiraling. Working out has become more than just exercise—it’s become a vital part of staying sane and being able to face each day with renewed energy and faith.

Marriage and parenting can be overwhelming—especially when it feels like you’re barely holding it together.

Life as a parent can be beautiful, but let’s be real—it’s also incredibly demanding. Between my husband’s work, homeschooling our daughter Arwyn who is on the autism spectrum, family responsibilities, and the constant needs of our kids, there are days when the weight of it all feels almost impossible. It’s easy to feel like we’re just barely making it through, trying to keep everything from falling apart.

But through all the challenges, we’ve discovered that it’s not perfection that keeps us going; it’s commitment and teamwork. We’re learning that even when things get messy, being there for each other, finding moments to laugh, and embracing the chaos together is what truly strengthens our relationship. We may not always get it right, but we’re in it together, and that makes all the difference.

No relationship or family is perfect, but finding ways to support each other through the tough times creates a bond that’s resilient and real. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the weight of it all, remember that it’s okay to be imperfect—as long as you show up for each other, there’s strength in that.

❤️Arwyn was diagnosed at the age of 4, but we chose to keep it to ourselves for years and before that we were in denial. The weight of that decision was heavy, but we felt scared, overwhelmed, and unsure of what the future held. As an Indian family, the fear of judgment and not knowing how people would react compounded our worries. We were lost in a whirlwind of emotions—fear, guilt, worry—and it seemed easier to hide, to try and figure things out quietly.

We poured our energy into trying every natural therapy and remedy we could find, holding on to hope and doing our best to support Arwyn without drawing attention. But the isolation took its toll; not sharing our journey left us feeling more alone than ever, just glad we had each other. Through this silence, we learned that hiding pain doesn’t make it go away. The real healing started when we embraced our emotions, even if it was hard.

Today, I’m sharing our story to let other parents know that you don’t have to carry this alone. Breaking the silence, speaking up, and connecting with those who understand is what brings strength and community. You deserve support and understanding, no matter how hard the journey has been.
