It can often take a few trials of moisturisers before finding the perfect one for your skin. Wouldn’t it be great if you didn’t need to waste money on the moisturiser’s that didn’t make the cut though?

Well, we’ve tried a lot of moisturiser’s at Anu Malhi and have made a list of our top 5 to try out.

The Ordinary – Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA

This is a natural skin hydrator that protects the outer layer of skin. It is made up of natural components that are found in the skin and is absorbed quickly. Over time the appearance of my skin had considerably improved and was no longer dry.

And the best part…THE PRICE! £6.75 is a fantastic price for the product, considering how expensive other brands are.

Estee Lauder – DayWear

This moisturiser helps reduce the first signs of ageing such as dullness and fine lines. Your skin will stay hydrated all day and is great for dry and normal skin. If you have oily skin, I wouldn’t recommend this as it can leave the skin looking slightly shiny and feeling a bit greasy. Definitely recommend this for dry and normal skin though!

Clarins – Hydra-Essentiel Silky Cream SPF15

This silky cream leaves your skin feeling so smooth and hydrated. It’s great for normal to dry skin. I’d suggest waiting a few extra minutes once you’ve applied this moisturiser before applying any makeup as I noticed anything I put on too quickly would cause a flakey texture and products would crumble. So if you were experiencing this then just wait a little longer for the cream to completely absorb into the skin as it’s a really good moisturiser!

Dr. Hauschka – Rose Day Cream

This cream is perfect for normal, dry and sensitive skin. It’s also good if you’re prone to any redness or irritation on the skin. It’s also great as a primer before applying makeup and smells gorgeous too.

Charlotte Tilbury – CHARLOTTE’S MAGIC CREAM

One of the more pricier moisturiser’s costing £70 for 50ml BUT we do love it! It creates a perfect base for makeup. It contains vitamins C and E that are essential to brighten up dull and tired looking skin. The aloe vera moisturises the skin and cools any irritation down.
